Good brand name - Maersk Line A/S, less optimal brand name - Confinity or Paypal, Inc. Maersk is an example of a good brand name as it is immediately recognisable anywhere in the world. This company is a Danish container transporter which adds the name of the company on many containers that it transports. This means no matter where the containers end up, they will continue to advertise the company. Additional to the name itself is the colour of the font and its secondary colour, the font itself, the star symbol, and the message that the word 'Maersk' conveys.
